These things are as cool as they are expensive. I suspect that they might work better with 1 1/2 seams (Most of my work is 1″) but they can still be a major help in tight corners or overhangs where you’re more worried about beating up the soffit than the metal you’re trying to work. They may not be for everybody but they are still a worthy addition to any metal roofer’s tool-kit.
