Hornet and Wasp Trap

This trap is perfect for catching any kind of flying pest in. Deep enough, the bait will not drip out even when swinging in the wind. Make your own attractant: Insert one or two small pieces of raw meat, fish / seafood or wet cat food. (Cooked meat is not as effective). Then fill with any fruit juice to the bottom ring. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and one or two drops of dish soap. Reassemble trap and hang. When reusing, rinse with fresh water.  * Yellowjackets can escape at the very top so a little duct tape will seal them in. *Pro tip – If you set these out early enough, you can catch a queen yellow jacket.  Catch her, and you just eliminated an entire colony of yellow jackets.
