Sharpen the cutting edge as soon as the knife seems to cut a little less. Wipe the handle from time to time with a drop of linseed oil or olive oil to restore its shine. Le P'tit Tradi knife, ash wood, 50th anniversary Feeling from the workshop Our cutlery history began in the 1950s as a subcontractor for major goldsmiths brands, but it was on December 30, 1975 that Solange, Gabriel and their son Denis founded the “Coutellerie GOYON-CHAZEAU”. So we’ll soon be celebrating our 50th anniversary! The ash brul wood used for these knives comes from a fifty-year-old ash tree that was cut down years ago to expand the workshop! A gift from nature for our anniversary!
